Question #3 What Does e=mc2 Really mean?

Ah yes, e=mc2. Albert Einsteins theory of relativity. OK, lets stop right there. e=mc2 is not the theory of relativity. e=mc2 is a mass-energy equivalence equation that was used in one of the many papers published by Albert Einstein over a period of time on his theory of relativity that he was developing. The equation e=mc2 did not in fact appear at all in Einsteins first paper on mass-energy equivalence. It was written as a sentence "if a body gives off the energy L in the form of radiation, its mass diminishes by L/V2.". Except it was in German. The formula went through many iterations by other scientists before Einstein refined it in 1946. To see where this equation fits into his theory of relativity though you need to know the full formula.

Question #4. Why is water wet?

Why is water wet? A question posed to me by my son quite some time ago. The only answer I could offer at the time that wouldn't completely bemuse him was that water is a fluid and if the water was dry it wouldn't be very good water. It was a good enough answer at the time.

Question #10

I really must get down to completing this project. This is possibly the most eagerly awaited blog post ever. More than 5 years in the making. A much discussed and debated topic that has been somewhat divisive within the household from time to time.
The question is simple enough, so what is the problem? Why does it take so long to answer it? Well, if the answer to the question is so simple and easy perhaps the consequences of the answer are equally simple and easy and that's just not the case is it.
So, what is the answer? And what is the question?

The Real Top 10.

Previously on I am The Wolfman; I had decided to make a post about a top ten list but I wanted to make the post more interesting than the usual top ten list fare that you might find on a personal bloggers blog page. I had gone through several ideas of what to make a list of but none of them were what I wanted to make a blog post about. During the process however I had been able to determine what it is that I wanted to do with the blog post and what I didn't want to do with it. I came to a conclusion after much deliberation that I feel will be fun, enjoyable and informative for all to read and I know that I will enjoy writing it.
So, now it is time for the gripping conclusion!
